Soccer training drills should be fun and educational. For beginner in soccer, maybe it is hard to understand the properly method and the rules to play soccer at the first time.

The successful way is making more touches in the training drills. You see that if young player get touches again and again, they will familiar with the ball and we as a coach will not difficult to teach any basic skills such as passing, heading, shooting, trapping, and dribbling.

These tips can be a solution in this training drills method.

Warming up with the ball

Our purpose to the training drills that we talking about are players should get more touches of the ball. So, it is a good way before going into the main session we give a ball to them. If your team has enough ball for them, give each player one ball.

Do Repeatedly

To become a great soccer player, it is important to do repeatedly again and again the skill that want to master until it set to the body. You know that David Beckham do his free kick training over and over again even in the outside of training session.

Juggling a Soccer Ball

Include juggling a soccer ball into your training drills can be a great way to improve their ball control skill. Although juggling is not useful in the real match but the ball control improvement is very useful for the match.

By doing those three points above in your training drills, the ball control ability will increase significantly. It will also improve their confidence in the match.
